Wellspring Living Partners with Chastain Horse Park

Since 2019, Wellspring Living’s Women’s Residential Program has partnered with fellow nonprofit Chastain Horse Park to offer therapeutic horseback riding lessons, called equine therapy, to program participants as they work through and recover from their trauma. Therapeutic horse lessons help survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation take the reins. Accustomed to having little control, they learn to control a horse – and trust again. A philanthropic foundation affiliated with Boehringer Ingelheim supports the lessons and put together a short video to educate and inspire their company and partners.
