About
Mission
Together Georgia is a preeminent voice in Georgia’s child and family welfare policy-making through Advocacy, Collaboration, Networking, and Communication.
Our Vision
Together Georgia will ensure that member organizations are equipped to serve those that their missions are tied to through distributing emerging data as well as by collaborating with key government figures and pertinent decision makers.
Together Georgia envisions a future where out-of-home care is considered an important part of the continuum of care. Together Georgia also envisions a future where children and youth are served appropriately along the continuum and receive the correct level of care to which they are entitled. Finally, Together Georgia envisions that all agencies along the continuum will receive adequate funding to support the services required and needed by “at-risk” children and youth. The Together Georgia of the future will be member-driven and member supported, with agency executives and staff actively involved and participating in association services.
”
Together Georgia is a conduit for communication among child welfare professionals where we can share ideas, solve problems and create successful changes for the future of Georgia’s children and families.
