General Overview: The UH4C Compliance Specialist serves a variety of functions related to foster home compliance under the supervision of the agency Compliance Director. This position serves the Compliance Department by ensuring that re-evaluations and other applicable foster home addenda are completed accurately and timely to ensure that all foster home are current and compliant with UH4C policies and all applicable state standards, rules, and regulations. This position serves on the Compliance Department team and reports directly to the agency Compliance Director.

V I S I O N:
The UH4C Compliance Specialist ensures that the unique vision and mission of UH4C as a Christ-centered, faith-based agency is preserved in all aspects of their role. This role serves as an example of carrying out the vision and mission of UH4C for foster children, foster families, and state partners.

Duties Include:
- Complete timely re-evaluation reports for UH4C foster families including visiting and assessing families and writing thorough narratives for submission on to GA Score
- Complete timely foster home addenda and related visits, including but not limited to new homes, new members, etc.
- Participate in any required training such as IMPACT, SAFE, etc. as needed
- Submit weekly schedule to Compliance Director for review/approval
- Regularly staff with Compliance Director to review workload and upcoming deadlines
- Assist in preparing for audits (reviewing files, updating documents, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the area of behavioral or social sciences, social work, psychology, childhood education, special education, guidance counseling or related field

Physical Requirements including:
1. Typing and reading computer screens for extended periods of time
2. Extended periods of driving as well as extended periods of sitting at a desk

- SAFE certification or willingness to obtain SAFE certification
- IMPACT certification or willingness to obtain IMPACT certification
- Be a team player and be able to work effectively both individually and in a team
environment
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple deadlines and reports simultaneously
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends or work outside of traditional office hours
- Prior paid work experience with children and families is preferred

Successfully clear the following safety checks:
o Criminal Background Check
o Child Protective Services (CPS)
o Pardons and Paroles (PPD)
o Department of Corrections (DOC)
o Sex Offenders Registry (GASOR)

- Have a personal relationship with Christ and desire to serve in a social work/foster care ministry
- Possess an operable vehicle and maintain a current driver’s license and car insurance
- Adhere to all UH4C policies and procedures
- Willingness to complete any required trainings
