Bald Ridge Lodge seeks Direct Care Staff for boys age 12-21.
Bald Ridge Lodge, Inc., is a non-profit Stabilization and Assessment Center, located in Forsyth County, Georgia which serves boys ages 12-21. We serve those who are in the custody of the Department of Family and Children Services or referred by the local Juvenile Court. Through partnership with referring agencies, as well as the families, we focus on family reunification and restoration. While at the Lodge, boys receive counseling, mentoring, tutoring, community support and engage in positive activities. We are licensed to serve up to 12 residents.
Purpose of Direct Care Staff:
BRL Direct Care Staff are instrumental in all daily operations and interactions with our residents. They provide consistency in the behavioral management plans and carry out service plans under the direction of the Executive Director, Program Director, Case Managers, Shift Supervisors and Facility Manager. Direct Care staff provide 24-hour, awake supervision and ensure the safety of each resident when they are on duty. They are also responsible to follow all Bald Ridge Lodge policies and procedures and provide the required reports for recordkeeping on each child.
Qualifications include (but are not limited to):
- At least twenty-one (21) years of age
- Possess a at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a clear driving record and criminal background check
- Have a passion for helping children, including traumatized children
- Experience in working with youth is preferred
Bald Ridge Lodge is seeking staff to start immediately following verification of qualifications. We are hiring for all shifts including late afternoons, evenings, overnight, weekends and occasional daytime. Employment may be full or part time depending on scheduling needs.
