Masters degree in community counseling or related field. (Social Work, Community Mental Health, Marriage and Family Therapy).
Must be license eligible with Georgia’s Secretary of State.
Must be under supervision for licensure if not fully licensed.
Must demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills to provide assessment and clinical services.
Must practice by the ethical standards of the professional association and state licensing board.
Valid Drivers license with good driving record and proof of insurance.
Contract Position: (Paid mileage for out of office appointments/ No mileage paid for assessments)
Must have access to a computer and telephone to contact clients and document services provided.
Serves under the Director of Goshen Therapeutic Services.
Upon receiving referral, make collateral calls to referring agency, review all documentation and notes pertaining to the family or individuals history, diagnosis and case plan.
Provide family counseling, training and coaching.
Conduct mental health assessments
Attend court hearings or case panel hearings to testify as requested by attorneys and DFCS.
Track units of service and dates of service outlined on the service authorization.
Document all service in Electronic Health record.
Attend monthly meetings, as required, for training, to receive updates regarding policies and procedures and to staff cases.
